Our range is designed and tested with a client-first approach to be functional, durable and affordable and is available throughout South Africa including an ever growing list of sub-Saharan African countries such as Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mauritius and more.

MAXE is founded as the original stainless steel automotive accessory manufacturer in South Africa.
Legend 35 manufactured for Toyota
First to manufacture stainless steel for Toyota in SA when MAXE supplied a special edition package for the Legend 35 which included the nudge bar, sidestep, sports bar, rear step and a tow bar. View the Legend range through the years.

New additions to the MAXE family
MAXE welcomes Hyundai and KIA to the family.
GMSA Approval
MAXE achieves GMSA approval on a wide range of accessories.
Ford Ranger T6 Approval
MAXE achieves approval to manufacture accessories for the new Ford Ranger T6 model and adds outsourced accessories to the dealer option which allows MAXE to include Ford business to the MAXE family.
MAXE enters the truck accessory market
Offers a one-stop shop for all truck accessories including truck bars, screen guards, spotlights and anti-syphon units.
Polygon & Louvre Designs introduced
MAXE was the first to introduce decals instead of laser cut-outs in their bars and introduced the Polygon and Louvre designs for Ford and Toyota. With these successful designs MAXE has been an integral part of the Legend 40, 45 and 50, the special edition Dakar as well as various years of Toyota Gazoo Racing vehicles.
